DJ Screw exploded on to the music scene in the mid 90's with his "Chopped & Screwed" sound that took the south by storm. Yet despite its unprecedented success with artists like Lil Keke, Fat Pat, and The Screwed Up Click it quickly unraveled into a firestorm of rivalries, success, and untimely deaths.

This hot new documentary filmed on the streets of H-Town in June of 1999, is the first installment of the DJ Screw Legacy series. The first offering is called The Foundation, 3rd Coast, hosted by Bun B of UGK. This DVD will shine a light on the disciples of DJ Srew and the major stain they have contributed to the foundation of DJ Screw's legacy, so that his music will live on.
