Cette compilation regroupe 13 morceaux inédits de l'essentiel des groupes français, qui sur les traces de MAGMA, ont créé la Nouvelle Musique Européenne.Il s'agit, en plus de Magma lui-même, soit de certains de ses anciens musiciens, soit de groupes ayant au moins au départ de leur carrière, subit son influence de manière profonde, avant de se forger leur propre identité.
Ce disque est donc un panorama de ceux qui représentent aujourd'hui les racines, l'actualité et l'avenir de cette scène intense et profondément originale.
