Notes
The album was recorded Max Guld’s 30-square-meter apartment from the beginning of 1984 to the beginning of 1985. The songs were made in chronological order except ”Preben og Irene” that was made after ”Bent” but moved in front of ”Leif's Jamren”.The Instruments are as follow: Moog Prodigy, Roland Organ/Strings 09, Korg KPR-77 rhythm machine, Gibson Les Paul De Luxe and a Rickenbacker bass. It was recorded on at Yamaha MT-44 4-track cassette through a home built mixer and mixed down to a Luxman stereo cassette. The 2-track stereo was transferred back to theYamaha giving two more tracks to record and then finally mixed down to the master. A spring reverb from a TV was also used and an old reel-to-reel for effects like echo. No sequencers or equalizers were used.
The songs were written by Max Guld who also played all instruments. At the time of recording three names were rotating on the turntable: Brian Eno, the Residents and Kraftwerk.
The cassette was originally released on Hub Records. The label was based in a suburb of Copenhagen around Alberstlund Rock Club. The first and only issue was 100 copies, that the director himself copied. It was distributed along other independent labels as a joint distribution. In this way, there were about 30 copies sold as far we know.
