Recorded at Pluto (Manchester), Eden (London), Matrix (London) and Strawberry (Manchester), winter 1983.

Late 80s (?) issue with several key differences from earlier pressings. 'The Smiths' is printed grey on the front cover, and the text on the reverse is pale red. Inner sleeve printed on shinier paper, with the flaps glued inside. The labels are pale green with red text. No barcode.
