Notes
The Buried Life was written and recorded in a little over a week, straddling the end of October and the start of November 2010. Each track features just drums, bass, vocals and a pair of guitars. The stripped orchestration helping to recapture the urgency and raw emotion of MLP's early days - while the new recording techniques helped to eliminate the many sonic problems (as referred to in the final track...) that those early 4-track tape recordings experienced.The title track is lyrically based on the poem of the same name by Matthew Arnold (who was also the author of the sonnet from which the band name was chosen some 16 years ago...).
