Notes

This release is apparently a reissue of a Vanguard Classics recording (the cover states: "A Vanguard Recording") recorded in 1963, but this could not be ascertained (no recording date on cover). This release seems part of a series, as number 2 is prominently printed on front cover, and it also complies with the release of Haydns Symphonies No. 44 & 45 and 46 & 47 on successive Vanguard Classics releases (VSD 2145 and VSD 2146, respectively). But this also could not be ascertained.
Mono and Stereo versions exist, and they use same covers, as both catalog numbers are printed on the release (AVRS 6312 for mono and AVRS 6312 St for stereo; but AVRS 6312 is printed on the front cover). The stereo edition can be distinguished by a sticker on the front cover (stating: "Amadeo Stereo) and LP label.
The complete title does not appear on front cover, but on back cover along the right edge.
The picture on the cover is an Etching of Schönbrunn in Viena (bey Artoria & Comp.)
