After being kicked out by RCA, Janis signed with a Belgian label Palette in 1960 to avoid legal claims and this was the first single, released in August the same year. PG 9000 is the EU release (red label) and PZ 5058 is the (white label) US release. A month later Teen Records TC-4404 released the same reording in Australia.
