„Fractured Sign“ contains 17 tracks which were produced in 2014 and 2015 and mostly for a secret side project (Ethan Silk). At the end of 2015 the secret was unveiled and the tracks of Ethan Silk were combined with new tracks for the „Fractured Sign“ cd, which was released in the beginning of 2016 as an official Blinky Blinky Computerband album.

A short story about Ethan and me

I am producing music for more than 20 years and beside of my main project Inside Agitator I have got some side-projects from time to time. When I finished the project Inside Agitator in 2012 and started Blinky Blinky Computerband, this should be the last name under which I produce music. But sometimes things are changing. In 2014 I produced some tracks which seemed to be too much “ambient” and “experimental” for Blinky Blinky Computerband. So I decided to start a new side-project again. However, this time nobody shall know that it is me behind this project. So I invented the electronic musician “Ethan Silk” from Canada and also his own side-project “Cellular Circuit”. In the coming time, I produced an “Ethan Silk” album, a single and some tracks and videos for “Cellular Circuit” beside the “Blinky” stuff. If you downloaded my “EMC-15” compilation, you should already know the names. These releases received a quite positive response.

Now, at the end of 2015, I thought about all this and came to the conclusion that this secret side-project was a mistake. Blinky Blinky Computerband always was a very open-minded project and in the meantime I produced some “Blinky” tracks which would fit to “Ethan”, too. Furthermore, the “Ethan” and “Cellular Circuit” music is very important to me and I like them as much as the “Blinky” stuff. For that reason I decided to finish this “secret project” and to tell the story behind it. And I decided to publish the music of “Ethan Silk” again and now officially under the name Blinky Blinky Computerband.

An album with 17 tracks and more than 70 minutes running time resulted. It contains the “Ethan” album “Fractured Parts From A Rotten World” and the single “Black Halo”. Furthermore, six unreleased “Blinky” tracks are included which fit perfect to this album.

And now, “rest in peace” Mr. Ethan Silk! ;-)
