Stomp VRP-3065; 1983. Rochester (NY). Double A-side (sleeveless) single from the early-BEATLES influenced mod quartet including Walt O'Brien-vocals; guitar & harmonica; Jim Lampert-vocals, bass; Bob Janneck-vocals, guitar; and Steve Lowden-vocals, drums. The band was initially formed in the spring of 1978 with original drummer Dave DiSpirito and was at the forefront of the early 80's Rochester garage rock scene playing many gigs with the Chesterfield Kings at the garage rock mecca Scorgies. An exclusive song, "Leave Me Alone" by Jim Lampert, can be heard on the "WCMF Rochester Homegrown #2" compilation. The band also had a third drummer, Brian Goodman, and broke up in 1984, but did reform in 1997 to release the Bob Janneck penned tune "All Your Life" on the Rochester "Scatamunglious" compilation. Be on the look-out for the long lost second vinyl Insiders single (Won't You Let Me/Through My Door) and the sleeves for this release.
