Edition of 100 hand-numbered copies.2009 marks the 10th anniversary for Dick Flick & the Broken Penis Orchestra. 10 years of cutting up, toilet humor and downright absurdity. It has been a wild ride full of downs and ups rights and fights and it has all led to this.
Fuck Rockin'In American Airspace is a dedication and a protest in one fell swoop. Dedicated to the sound artists, past and present, who have, and continue to challenge, amuse and confuse us. Without the inspiration drawn from the likes of the Mixed Band Philanthropist, Negativland, Nurse With Wound, Orchid Spangiafora and many others, the BPO simply would not be. Comfort the confused, confuse the comfortable as Dick likes to say...And a protest to the Supreme Jerks court ruling that all sampling is currently considered illegal. BAH! Fuck Rockin'In American Airspace!
Also included in this set is a DVDr containing the BPO's live Sunday Sermon from The Bible during the 2005 Wooden Octopus Skull Experimental Musick pFestival in Seattle at the infamous Funhouse.
