It appears the masters Capcom used to produce the Rockcan Sound E Can (and the Rockman Sound Box 2 reprint) were used in the production of this record as the distortion that was unfortunately heard on the tracks in the box sets can be heard here as well. This affects tracks 1-8 as it clears up once the Mega Man 4 tracks begin (track 9).

Original version of the album was release in 2015 via Hot Topic. This repressing comes in three varieties, Mega Man, Cut Man and Metal Man, this being the Metal Man print.

This deluxe edition LP is available in two different colored vinyl variants based on key level bosses chosen by fans via social media poll, as well as one for the man himself. Packaged in a full color jacket with a full color inner bag featuring many exciting action shots from the game, the limited MEGA PACK edition also includes a bonus 18” x 24” poster and a full color sticker, and is housed in a die-cut, vintage NES-styled slipcover!
