Notes

House music has found it's place in the icelandic music scene. Design has always been a big part of this particular genre, for example the posters, flyers and artworks. In Húsverk the history of house music is divided into different periods and Dj's interviewed. In this project the look of house music is interperated and the DIY mentality portrayed. The book Húsverk is mass produced on a photo copier with a hand stamped cover. The records are cutted here in Iceland, hand stamped with a silk screen printed cover, only 20 copies will be made.
