Very early single sided shellac record; certainly earlier than the one shown on phonorama.fr as this one has neither runout nor catalog number. It just says "Bettini" on the non-existent runout.
Rear says "Made in England", coinciding with info that Bettini had to have his records pressed in the UK. It also seems that some sort of tool, perhaps a cutting needle, fell onto the press leaving an imprint. Dare I say that given the very poor pressing quality there would have been very little difference had it fallen onto the recording side?
First few seconds of recording are a cylinder tradition reading of title and orchestra.
