Notes
Last track not listed on back-cover.The plate tracks were made by playing various sounds through a subwoofer attached to the back of a large circular steel plate. Using test tones I was able to find the natural tuning of the plate (roughly pentatonic) which forms the basis of the melodies. (I still think it's some of my best work, so please check it out.)
The other three tracks are from the days when I was living in New York City, around when I first met Paul. They are drunken, obnoxious, and serene, in exactly that order.
